Set in a former pie factory, the sprawling Grounds of Alexandria are reimagined with each thematic and rotating installation in the laneway accessible by patrons of the coffee, dining and event destination.

It was well worth exclusively experiencing the enchanting Parisian wonderland of illustrator and author Megan Hess' character Claris the Mouse epitomising glamour, style and sweet treats by arriving the moment the French doors opened.

The icing on top was indulging in the signature Mouse à La Mode mini cake with layers of vanilla sponge and strawberry cream crowned with pink macarons, and Fashion Statement Spritz of dazzling lemonade, rose, elderflower and citrus.
